Semi Permanent Makeup Aftercare
Careful attention needs to be taken when caring for your SPMU procedure.
Within the next three days your procedure will lightly scab over then slough away, do not pick or pull at the treated area and if required only use aftercare creams provided by us.
ONLY APPLY A FINE FILM. It will take 24 hours for the area to create a protective barrier; your final colour result will take 28 days.
A retouch cannot in any circumstances take place until 28 days as scarring may occur.
Your procedure will go through three phases;
1) Heal, 2) Peel, 3) Fade.
DO NOT apply make up over the area for up to seven days post treatment. If aftercare is not followed procedures will not heal correctly and results will be poor.

The Red Cross has advised not to give blood for six months following a SPMU procedure, do not have any form of laser in the direct area of the SPMU as the pigment will alter to titanium dioxide in the pigment.
For MRI scans inform the operator of your SPMU procedure, you may feel a slight tingling sensation in the area. SPMU shows as an artefact through these scanners. Ensure the procedure is healed before considering botox or collagen fillers in the direct area.
Ombre Brows
You will need to keep your brows dry for 5 days.
A solution will be applied to the brows after your treatment. This will create a membrane over the wound to help it heal. You will not be required to
do anything else to the brows.
Ensure no creams, soaps, make up or cleaners touch the treated area for 5 days.
Please avoid exercising as much as possible for this time.
Do not pick or pull at the treated area, swelling may appear in the next 24 hours which may distort the shape temporarily until it subsides.
After 5 days you can get your tattoo wet - be
careful when drying the area as some scabbing will still be present. If need be you can then apply a thin film of the after care cream provided but only after 5 days.
After 7 – 10 days your scabbing will have shed and the brows will have lightened.
After 20 days the colour will resurface due to the healing process of the skin. You will need a top up appointment after your first procedure 4-6 weeks later.
